Massage Policies

The Massage or Bodywork Session

The therapist determines how best to perform a therapeutic session. Most sessions are scheduled for 60-minute appointment times. This usually includes 45-50 minutes of table time. The use of equipment in a session, such as hot packs, face cradles or other items are at the sole discretion of the therapist. Therapists do their best to meet each client’s needs and are willing to take directives in regards to preferences of pressure and areas that you would like to have avoided. All of our massage and bodywork sessions are therapeutically oriented only.

Therapist Code of Ethics

Harmony Health Therapists are dedicated to a code of ethics and behavioral guidelines standard to the American Massage Therapy Association.

Cancellation Policy

We request a minimum of 24-hours notice for cancellations prior to the scheduled session. A $45 missed appointment/no-show fee may apply for appointments that are cancelled without enough notice to fill the scheduled appointment.

Client Confidentiality

Client lists and personal information is confidential. We do not share our lists with outside companies. All therapists at Harmony Health respect client confidentiality outside of the massage and bodywork sessions.

Lost and Found

If you have left or lost some personal belongings please call the front desk.

Massage and Bodywork on Minors

Therapists may provide massage and bodywork for minors under 18 with parental consent. Parents must call the reception desk to schedule the session and be present with the minor at the session.

Disrobing for Session

Partial or full disrobing is recommended for your massage session. We create a very safe environment and give great attention to proper draping. Shorts can be provided if necessary. Feel free to speak with your therapist if you have any questions or concerns.

Noise Policy

We will do our best to provide you with sessions that are comfortable and private. We do ask that clients turn off all cellular phones and beepers during their sessions.

Children’s Policy

Since it is our responsibility to create a peaceful and workable atmosphere for all of our clients, we reserve the right for the therapists to use discretion in allowing children in the room for each session. Don’t hesitate to ask about this policy.
