About Harmony Health in Edgewood

We have been delivering quality Chiropractic care to the  surrounding communities of Edgewood since 1967. What began as Robinson Chiropractic has evolved into the team of Chiropractors, Massage Therapists and Naturopathic doctor that make up Harmony Health today.   Our Vision is teach others how to live a healthy life with the discliplines of a Chiropractic Lifestyle.

Our approach is simple. We believe that health is among our most valuable possessions. While we generally meet people after they’ve lost their health, or are already experiencing symptoms of somekind, our commitment is three-fold:

1. Relief Care
Relief or wellness care... it's your choice.

When many people seek care in our office they have one goal: relief. So that’s where we start! During this initial stage of intensive care, we have several obligations:

  • Uncover the underlying cause of the health problem

  • Suggest a care plan to produce the fastest results possible

  • Offer ways patients can participate in their recovery

  • Explain the value of post-symptomatic wellness care
2. Corrective Care

This stage of care can be referred to as "transitional " or "adaptive" care. The body needs time to respond to treatment just as though it responds to a new exercise routine. The return to normal activities and the positive reinforcement that is experienced during this stage of care keeps patients smiling!

3. Wellness Care

We encourage our patients to achieve the highest levels of health possible. Through educational opportunities (like this website), we hope to communicate the value of ongoing Chiropractic, Massage and Naturopathic care. Our desire is to see our practice members abandon the prevailing sickness care model of health (waiting for symptoms and then taking action), in favor of the emerging wellness model.

You’re the Boss

Regardless of your health goals, please understand that we work for you! You’re the boss! It’s your body, your health and your future. Our job is to offer you our benchmark "Service-First-Attitude" and get the best results possible.  With the differing discleplines we have to offer, it's up to you to decide how much of it you want.

Dr. Acosta Asks some important questions of interest to Edgewood residents - Chiropractor Edgewood Dr. Acosta Asks...

Will chiropractic adjustments make my spine too loose?
No. Only the spinal joints that are fixated and "locked up" receive attention. The occasional spinal joint that moves too much is passed over so weakened muscles and ligaments can strengthen and heal.
How does headache medication find the headache?
It can't! Chiropractors know that when you ingest a drug and it enters your bloodstream it numbs or deadens your entire body. Chiropractic adjustments, on the other hand, are specific, targeted and delivered with precision.
